Description
Learn the basics in throwing, and decorating your pieces in this all-inclusive, 4 week course. Price includes all clay, a tool kit, glazes, firing and tuition.
What you will learn:
Week One
- How to knead your clay
- How to centre your clay on the wheel
- How to form cylinders
- How to create simple bowl forms
Week Two
- Continuing to practice throwing technique
Week Three
- Trimming pots ready for bisque firing
- How to add a foot ring to the base of pots
Week Four
- Waxing and glaze preparation
- Basic glazing and decorating techniques
Monday evening 6pm - 8.30pm
Saturday morning 9.30am - 12pm
COST: $260.00 - All materials, tools and firing included.
Booking essential for all classes, maximum class of 6 persons per session.
PLEASE NOTE: Class will be cancelled if less than 6 people are enrolled in which case all payments will be refunded.
All deposits and class payments are non - refundable but will be held and transfered to another class of your choice assuming there is a vacancy for a term of 12 months from date of payment. Please also note that this class may not be suitable for children under 12 years of age due to needing to be a certain height to use of the wheel.

- Please bring an old towel (bath size) and wear old clothes

Please wear old clothes as you will get messy. Please note that shoes must be worn in the studio at all times.

Our studio is a place where there are very little rules except to respect your fellow artists, their work and the studio, to relax and learn that there is no end to the possibilities when working with clay..........

If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
You may cancel anytime before class starts and claim a full refund or transfer.

Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at SaJo Ceramics or organised by SaJo Ceramics must agree to these terms and conditions.

I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by SaJo Ceramics.
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give SaJo Ceramics unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at SaJo Ceramics classes and events or on SaJo Ceramics's premises. (For use of SaJo Ceramics marketing materials).
