



INTRODUCTION TO MINDFUL STITCHING
Description
Come and experience the practice of Mindful Stitch, where the use of basic embroidery stitches, fabric and colour are used as a tool towards relaxation and centering.
This class will explore the technique of following the stitch without any predetermined direction or patter n, allowing the mind to empty and release the constant chatter and just be in the moment. This release of control, allowing the stitch and colour to dictate the end result;
This is a simple and healthy creative practice that can be used daily, even for 10 minutes to bring some quiet into your daily life and do something creative. You also get to enjoy making some
beautifully stitched fabric to take home. That can be made into pictures, bookmarks, stitched books and even jewelry.

- 1) Basic understanding of using simple stitch in a variety of ways
- 2) A take home project to finish at home with the basic kit to continue stitching your finished piece

If you can't attend the class:
- A refund can be requested 2 days before class starts. An admin fee of AU$5.00 applies.
- A transfer can be requested 2 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
- A credit note can be requested 2 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
No changes will be allowed after these times.
